The Institute of Materials Science at the Univerisity of Connecticut has extensive state-of-the-art facilities including laboratories in surface science, laser materials interactions, x-ray diffraction, electron optics including TEM, SEM, ESEM, biomaterials, solid freeform fabrication, nanomaterials optoelectronics, polymer rheology, polymer synthesis and processing, casting, mechanical testing, nuclear magnetic resonance, thermal analysis, GPC, infrared spectrometers and image analysis.

RBD Enterprises

 

 

RBD Enterprises, Inc., are specialists in the servicing and upgrading of older Physical Electronics (PHI, Perkin-Elmer) surface analysis systems and components.

Ionyx is the new biometrix division of RBD Enterprises, Inc that was created in order to bring the fingerprint enhancement research from our lab into the world as a usable instrument for the forensic community.
